Commemorative Pump

From Summer 2019 Teynham News:

"A design for the pump was submitted by Mr. Aymer Vallance but the £105 raised by later that year but was not enough to adopt the original design in its entirety. A request for further designs was made. In the meantime a village wag had erected a comic pump near the intended site as a hint to the Committee to get on with the job! In October further designs were submitted.

One of these designs it appears has now come to light a copy of which we have received from Bernard Cork, via David Wood, which needless to say may have been of interest to the Committee but was not adopted.
